In Halo 4 on the level, Forerunner, a little bit more then midway through the level the Didact is shown in a cut-scene, in this cut-scene the Didact brings brings up the Librarian and how she used his own “Guardians” against him, here’s the short piece of dialogue in which he says it “The Librarian left little to chance, didn’t she? Turning my own guardians… my own world… against me.”. Also a video. Now I know he may be talking about the promethean’s that were under his command by the way he looks over at them, but I just found this really interesting and it piqued my interest what with all talk about the Guardians in Halo 5: Guardians and the Didact maybe making a return.
It could go either way, but interesting thought.
Guardians are protectors. Prometheans are his protectors.
If it was randomly capitalized I’d agree with you, but its not. Guardian is a pretty flexible word. Its even used so much during one of the h4 vidocs people used to think Guardians stood for chief and company, not these giant robots.
