Came across an interesting “coincidence” from a previous Catalog posting. We know that the events of Halo 5 take place approximately 8 months after Halo 4 which would put it sometime in March 2558.
Now, take a look at the following from Catalog’s 4th query posting.

First, notice how the Ecumene control request on March 3, 2558 would fit right in with Halo 5? Also, there’s a distinction made between between the Ur-Didact (Shadow-of-Sundered-Star) and the other that just indicates the Didact. It may be a stretch to say that they’re related events, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Forerunner Guardians have emerged around the same time with an as yet to be confirmed Iso-Didact.
