YES, I know Guardian is from Halo 3, but I think it’s by far, hands down the most loved H3 map ever; SO many people want it and love it. 343 probably won’t feature it in the mappack as it’s probably already finished, but hey, we can try right? Post if you want it in the CEA mappack.
ME! ME! ME! It was almost like a re-imagining of Lockout but in a jungle setting. So much fun to play on.
I have no issue with Guardian making a return. I am all for more maps.

You forgot about the combination Guardian + classic playlist? Also, as long as Sprint and Jetpack will not be choosable, it’ll be fine.
CEA map pack will be all Halo CE maps, “possibly one from Halo 2.” Frankie already confirmed this, so you can hope but the chances it returns in Halo CEA is slim to none. Besides, my guess is the Halo 2 map is Beaver Creek which is actually Battle Creek from Halo Ce so it really isn’t a Halo 2 map.
The one map Reach is lacking is a 1 sided BTB map. I’d go back to Halo 2 and remake Headlong, Zanzibar, Relic, or Terminal before I considered a different remake.

I’d prefer Lockout seeing how it is the original.

You’ve gotta remember they’re in the process of releasing a new Title Update that’s supposed to bring a more ‘classic’ feel to Reach. So once they released that TU (hopefully before CEA), Guardian would be VERY playable, and enjoyable.
