Guardian Forest, Reimagined

One mission that many people have brought up with interest in it peaking a while ago with YouTube videos like this one from “Rejected Shotgun” [named: “Halo 3’s Mysterious Guardian Sentinel - 14 Years Later”) is the cut Halo 3 mission “Guardian Forest”. For people that do not know, a quick explanation:
Guardian Forest was a cut mission of H.3 based in the Forest that turned into the H.3 Multiplayer map “Guardian” in the final product of Halo 3. Possibly, in later Campaigns for H.Infinite, 343i could reimagine and reincarnate the cut mission and it’s asthetic to produce a new biome for some H.Infinite missions (because I think that the Pacific N.W biome may get dull after a while and one of the charms of the Classic Games was where you fought the battles).

I’ve always thought I’d love to see the content from that mission. It would be cool to see it in Infinite, but I’m actually hoping that Infinite will be a platform for the long anticipated remaster of Halo 3. Personally, I would love to see Halo 3 remade rather than remastered, I’d love to see Halo 3 with the spring and clamber from Infinite, plus Blur cutscenes and a bunch of cut content restored. It would be amazing to see all of the geometry from the level “Cortana” that was originally made for “Floodgate” returned to that mission and restored, the Guardian Forest mission returned to the game (would be so cool to see the cutscene that was planned with the guardian rising from the Ark and destroying Truth’s fleet,) and lastly, the Cortana mission restored to the original vision, with the climactic final battle between a scarab controlled by Cortana and the gravemind (with Chief onboard.)
