GT unable to connect to Halo 4 servers

A few days ago after playing a few match-made games via Xbox Live, I was unable to enter any more games. The game said something about not having a connection to the Halo 4 server and that it had to revert to the default playlist. Since then, I can’t join any of my friends parties, I am a Spartan Rank of 1, I can’t download my stats via in game menu, and I can’t view my stats online (via Halo Waypoint). It’s like my gamertag doesn’t exist purely in this game; XBL and other games everything is fine.

I know other players have experienced this in the past. I pose this question to the mods: Whats going on with my gamertag and why can’t I play online suddenly?

TL;DR My gamertag suddenly can’t connect to the Halo 4 server, what do I do?

try recovering your gamertag or reinstalling the 2nd disk. That’s all I can think of at the moment. Maybe you got banned for modding boosting or network tampering.

I have attempted recovering my gamertag and did a complete re-install of the game and all maps. Neither worked. At this point I am fully confident that this problem is server side.

I partially agree with your idea that I got banned somehow. But if that is the case, I wasn’t given any sort of message letting me know of the ban. Yet, at the same time, I would be furious if I was banned considering I never did anything outside my norm of playing the game (no modding boosting or network tampering).

Any one else have any idea?
