Grunts never lost their relevance…
I’d say grunts were hardly ever relevant. Hence their Human given name, “grunts”. I feel like they exist right where they are supposed to. They should only be slightly(barely) threatening if you are playing Heroic, and only considered dangerous in groups if you are on Legendary.
Yea grunts are a pain on legendary. They are my favorite enemy though. They are like the ewoks of halo. “Take off armor, get on knees, then see whose tough!”-Grunt
- Grunts are still relevant.
- Gold-armored Sangheili are still a thing. Just take a look at the new Sangheili Warrior rank.
- We are fighting Sangheili-led Covenant remnants. Jiralhanae aren’t particularly relevant.
- Rocket launchers and Gravity Hammers are still special.

Agree… They are often easy to kill, but me too feel bad when I do this… Especially when they are sleeping… They are so cute!!
