We all know these little fellas… some say they’re cute, some say they’re dangerous. Grunts are the number 1 cause of why some of my “tactics” fail. [Flashback] Im creeping behind rocks and trees, trying to get behind my prize, and Elite, so I can assassinate him. Im just about to get him when a Grunt turns around and screams. The Elite turns, and I realize he has a Feul Rod Gun. He shoots, I die, and I silently curse that Grunt.

I wouldn’t call them little or cute cause they’re like 5’8 I think and also have you ever seen ones face?ughhhh.But they’re one of the most annoying enemies evr cause they constantly spam the plasma pistol at ya to prevent your shield from recharging and if you take out the elite that’s with them then they go kamikaze.So I dislike them very much.

lol. I agree that they’re ugly, and that they are big, compared to a normal human. And I hate those kamakazis, and I hate that they have unlimited plasma pistol shots and unlimited grenades. So, I agree with everything you said!

I thought that they were about 4-5 foot? Which would make them the size of, or slightly taller than a dwarf.

But yes they do look tiny compared to spartans. When I first played halo I thought they were like 2-3 foot :’)

That’s because we saw them with their gas masks on, without it they look absolutely hideous

Its not so bad when they cover their faces up, like the ultras

There is nothing worse than charging around a corner straight into a silent kamikaze grunt.

the halo 2 ones were so cute. but with the reach grunts, i don’t mind snapping their necks, they are ugly in this game

It’s only natural, Reach was grim dark for the sake of being grim dark.

Yes I have a bias against it.

CE and H2 Grunts = Cute
H3 and Reach Grunts = Ugly, annoying, crazy, dull minded

I beg to differ. Their head and skin is less detailed. I don’t give a -Yoink- about menacing teeth.

Less detail = looks ok

I love the Grunts in all the Halo games. They’re very funny and extremely cute (not their appearance but their behaviour).

I only know: If in Halo 4 won´t be Grunts, we need an equivalent. The Grunts were ideal to let loose my sadistic, dark soul. >:)
We need some small, scared, helpless, wailing enemy, that you can hunt and finish off! :stuck_out_tongue:

For that and as comic relief. Grunts are simply hilarious! XD
