Some of you that were around during the lead up to H4’s launch will remember this insanity. Looking back it seems so hilarious. Personally I’ve come to really enjoy the diversity within the species that 343 is giving us (I know it started with Bungie giving us skirmishers in Reach). They’ve even referenced the different subspecies in the novels which really adds a lot of detail and makes the Halo-verse seem much bigger.
What I’d really like to see is a mixture of subspecies within the campaign. Using the Kig-Yar as an example, it would be cool to see the more reptilian Ibie’shans fighting alongside the more common and avian Ruuhtians and a few T’vaoan skirmishers.
I understand that the less models/skins a game has the easier it is on the devs. This is just an idea I thought would be cool.

From what I can tell the Halo 5 grunts resemble the halo 1-Reach grunts but in Halo 4 styled armour.
I never thought of that! That would be awesome seeing the old Kig-yar next to the new. But what I really want is the old banshee to make an appearance, iots been in escalation and teaser images for the game.

There’s a panel in Escalation where Spartan Ray and Lasky are flying Banshees. One old and one new.
Not so sure about having them both in the same game though. Each game they’ve been balanced against the weapons/vehicles of that specific game which is why they’ve been slightly different each time. Also, I’d have a hard time adapting to the different controls in the same game. I don’t think I’m alone on that, but who knows, maybe it’s just me.
Can I get an overweight Grunt? One that’s been at the food nipple for far too long?

Well, we have seen considerably more images of the new banshee, the one with gold inlay.
