Ok! So I myself, playing this game for so long now, have noticed that I haven’t even used the Grunt Mine ability more than 5 times and that’s weird because the main core unit I build for Early game is grunts! (You can save your meta tip urges for later, haha!) is there some way I just haven’t been using them right? Because so far I just haven’t been using them at all, since when I attempt to use them in large groups, they just don’t seem to do Anything, but when I activate them one at a time, they do seem to comply. Is there any reason for this? Cause I think it’d be really fun to just nail each power node with mines (excluding Atriox’s ability) and just go to town!
I guess what I’m really asking is, is there a way to make all of your grunts drop mines, or is that not a thing yet?

I Honestly hate the change from grenades to mines. They should throw plasma grenades like marines.
Because of that same reason lol the times I’ve tried it they haven’t worked, so I thought it was a waste of an upgrade.
If it’s a bug and could be fixed I’d definitely use it though!

I mean I understand they wouldn’t have access to plasma grenades, but… are we just going to forget that Brute Spike grenade from Halo 3? Come on! That’s a thing right?
On Xbox rapidly hitting Y with all grunts selected works, your grunts use it for each time you press Y assuming you have that many grunts that haven’t used it yet. You have to press each time targeting where so I usually just move the pointer while button mashing Y to make a crude minefield

This explains the only time I’ve been -Yoinked!- by mines. I had around 15 choppers ramed his Grunt army and I immediately saw them running in circles like crazy and then there was a bang and then there were no choppers.
