Im having a lot of fun with Grunt Funeral. Without boom on… it actually helps me more than hurts me. It kills nearby enemies while Im just outside the blast range. I cracked myself up while walking through the Pillar of Autumn. I had Grunt Funeral on, and everytime the Autumn shook as it was hit by Covie boarders, I would think to myself “That was a big Grunt…”. What are your favorite, good and bad, memories/experiences with Grunt Funeral? (Im not sure if we can say memories yet… its only been 2 weeks). Would you like a skull like Grunt Funeral in future games?
GF Skull is a good bonus imo. Like you said, if you have it activated with the Boom Skull, you’ll have some good times ahead of you. It kind of comes into its own when you play on Legendary though, imo… A good shot on a Grunt that’s hanging around with a few Elites will certainly help thin the crowd a bit 
You definitely need to use the Boom skull combo. I swear rooms full of elites get killed instantly on legendary, all you need is a gun and a grunt…
With that thing on and Boom skull, it hurts me more than it helps.
Clearing a room this way never gets old…can’t help but laugh while listening to the grunt and elites biting it. Make the game very fun even during a struggle thru legendary.

That skull is awesome. Combined with Boom and Grunt Birthday Party… great times.
Boom is not fun with the wraith tanks though. Took forever for me to beat those last two on Two Betrayals. Those camos didnt help either

Lol On my Legendary run with Grunt Funeral and Boom on, I often found myself throwing the grenade, realizing that I was too close, and spinning around and running in the opposite direction screaming,“Oh sh–!!!” Haha…good times.

When I first played with GF on, I had Boom enabled as well. Put me in sheer shock after the first grunt death resulted in my death as well. Good fun though
My only problem with Boom on Legendary. My bad throw aim.
The Maw: Goes to cafeteria part Throws a grenade Grenade bounces of column and comes back at me I run I blow up.
Its especially a pain with Iron on.

all too often a grunt will blow another grunt into my face tho
It depends on the level. The GF skull is always fun, but the boom skull was quite annoying when I tried to complete the warthog ride in the level “the maw”. The random explosions killed me like 10 times and there is only one checkpoint.
Grunt Funeral is loads of fun to just cause total mayhem. On Assault on the Control Room, I shot the grunts near the hunters that shoot at you on the parellel bridge. One landed on the bridge I was on.
