Halo Waypoint needs a “group” feature like Bungie.net. Pretty much all of the groups on Bungie.net are dying. Even the once well respected and well known groups. Forge groups, Screenshot groups, all of them. Waypoint needs to have a group feature so that the groups that are struggling to hold together can relocate to a place that is associated with Halo. Waypoint needs groups so people of common ground can get together and contribute to the community like they did way back when. It worked then, I believe it can again.

What say you Waypoint community?

I would enjoy to see a group feature, and it could be made so you can view your groups screen shots, files, and videos on waypoint, and you can set up group custom challenges.

Ask not what Waypoint can do for you, but ask what you can do for Waypoint :smiley:

As far as I know, there are already more dedicated sites that represent the “dying” groups.

I think those sites should get more support from Waypoint rather than just tagging on another feature.

More-less the other sites have to use Waypoint, not Waypoint has to amalgamate everyone else’s “love.”

it could be on the back-burner like some of the other stuff cough like adding more avatars cough but i would certainly like to see this feature :slight_smile:

Not yet. We don’t want to get the feature. then let it immediately die due to lack of inactivity.

Also, the forum software doesn’t support this type of Groups system, so it would tie no links to your Forum profile if they did implement it.

I strongly disagree, groups will increase activity. I suggest updating the forum software to support groups. I can go on a HUGE rant on all the reasons why these forums should have groups. The most obvious is that someone posts a thread like this every week. PLEASE 343 step up and add the groups feature to your forum. Your customers have been asking for this feature for a LONG time now.
