Grouping Units With the Text Pad

I’m not very quick about using the grouping commands. Sometimes it has really come in handy though and I do use it from time to time. But would y’all think it would be neat to be able to use the little text pads they sell for Xbox controllers to hotkey buttons? I posted about this a while ago and it didn’t get a single reply. I don’t know if it just wouldn’t make a difference at Onyx level or if the idea just can’t work but in my nooby mind it would do wonders for micromanagement.

Just to be clear there are 20-40$ mini-text pads you can plug into the bottom of Xbox controllers. I think it would be cool to assign units and bases to specific keys.

Yes I support this! PC players get 10 hotkeys for unit grouping. We have to hold 2 buttons to assign and 2 to select them again. This would help so much!

It would be cool yes, and honestly I wouldn’t see it as too big of an advantage, but not sure if games can directly control the pad input.

Related to groups, we should be able to also assign buildings to the d-pad.
