Not sure if has been changed or not, but do warthogs count toward ground vehicle kills? For the clan commendations. Some say yes and some say no. Looking for a definitive answer. Thanks

Of course it would. A Warthog is a ground vehicle for Pete’s sake, so why wouldn’t it count towards the commendation?

As long as you are the gunner.

The game registers it as a turret kill in the kill feed, as well as tool of destruction, so I’m not sure if it counts towards ground vehicle kills. My Company leader said that they don’t, but I’ve no idea.

I don’t think the turret does, but if you’re the driver and you splatter people, I think it counts. But I’m not sure.

Turret kills of any kind do not count towards the company ground vehicle kill commo. Splatters do count but as far as I know passenger kills is still up for debate.

I guess as long as the turret is attached, it would count. It would only make sense.

Warthogs can rack up kills quick, but the scorpion, mantis and wraith are easier ways to get ground vehicle kills.

Kills with the turret don’t but if you’re a driver and you kill yes.

I’m gonna settle this. I did a test experiment once. Warthog gunning does NOT count as a ground vehicle kill for Spartan Company commendations.
