oh we laughed at it mainly due to pure wtf lol i normally know not to ground pound around others but i didnt hear the lift or see anyone, hell i didnt even hear him charging up so i had no idea he was there
I’m still trying to figure out how that happened. did he ground pound right before you or spawn right under your ground pound? i don’t see him in any frames before you start your descent!

i slow mo the video after i posted it, and if you watch the radar you see his dot coming through the lift, but since i had started my GP you dont hear it, and i charged mine up a lot, but yea if you want slow the video down to .5 and watch the radar lol. so that might be why he wasnt as mad i was there first!!! lol
dude that’s hilarious. Teammate, wrong place, wrong time LOLOL.
HOWEVER, this illustrates a bit of the weirdness with the whole GP and how it works, where it just stops in midair regardless of who or what is in your way. For the most part. He was like kind of off to the side and didn’t seem like he was in the way of your trajectory. So the hitboxes must be massive. They should still be able to eliminate accidents like this one where your teammate was in midair too. It’s one thing to be on the receiving end of the impact on the ground when you land, it seems silly it happens so often in midair.

whats even weirder the more and more i look at it after yall reply, to see what each of yall is talking about, slow down and freeze at 24 seconds, my teammate actually is the one landing on top of me lmao yet he dies and not me. that just goes with how screwy the mechanics are
Epic fail hahah! But still Epic!
I’m vaguely reminded of this spectacular fail.

Lol I like the title fits perfectly. Or what about when you GP the front of a moving tank and get a splatter instead on just landing on it

probably the shockwave from yours stops his ground pound in midair.
pretty hard to be mad about that one haha
