I feel like even though the snipers intercepted the actual point of the gametype it was defiantly a lot more fun than the new one. what do you guys think? sniper or no snipers?

Well unfortunately for me I have only played the new one once and it took me playing 18 games in a row to get it but it did seem better without beam rifles.

Beam town arena was no fun.
I like the game type a lot better now that people actually ground pound. The beam rifle took all the fun out of it.

This. The fact that I could get one of my perfections simply by camping on top with the beamrifle just shows how counterproductive it was to the gametype. Cool idea on paper, just misrepresented and abused in actuality.
It was basically octagon 1v1 with 8 people and ground pound before the map update.

Maybe I like the snipers better cause I like doing octagon. I just think the new version gets boring really quick. I play for like two kills and then want to quit. but having a sniper and going for sick multis, snapshots and all kinds of cool stuff like that just seems more exciting to me. I guess I am just to tryhard for social playlists lmao.
Nah no snipers. Snipers completely ruined the gametype as no one would have ground pound. They would just sit in the back and pick people off.
It would be great to have ground pound arena as a gamemode in social this way we wouldn’t need to go through action sack
I’ve loved Ground Pound Arena since the Beam was taken out. Stupid campers. Makes the game more exciting…at least to me.
alright so it seems that I am a minority in this viewpoint, the general consensus is that no beam or sniper is a positive change to Ground Pound Arena.
