I can’t take it anymore the grizzlies are 100% overpowered. Today I had an entire army (30/30) of cobras and when I put them against the grizzlies it was one helluva battle, but somehow I beat them with only one cobra to spare (then his teamate also forge just rolled in his and destroyed my bases). Either the cobras need a buff or the grizzlies need a nerf; they have become the cancer of halo wars.
1). Your entire army was lacking five Cobras.
2). Did you put all of them in lockdown mode?
When they are locked down, they do more damage vs. buildings/bases and less damage vs. vehicles.

That is not true. They are nearly useless if not in locked down.

They actually do more damage againt vehicles when locked down plus I think they have more health locked down. Some tips for next time buy the upgrade which gets you 10 more population and put spartans in some of your cobras to make 3 of them even more powerful.
Also I was just in a match and a sgt forge was the last one alive on the other team and he had a full army of locked down cobras plus spartans in some. This guy actually managed to defend against 2 scarabs and a full army of grizzles for some time before we over ran him we lost most of the grizzles and 1 scarab.

Grizzlys Sigh. FYI 30/30 is not a full army. UNSC max pop cap for standard is 40, get the +10 reinforcements upgrade from your Armory.
A: Upgrade your cobra’s
B: Lock down your cobra’s (Their main advantage the range and firepower they have while locked down) PLUS one of their upgrades (Deflection plating) is only in effect while locked down. this gives a 25% chance (I think) that a shot from the canon of most vehicles will just bounce of he cobra.
C: Try putting Spartans in your cobra’s (A high level spartan cobra [11+ stars] will be able to kill 2 grizzlys with each shot it your lucky)
D: Use Marines/ODST or Scorps to cover your Cobra’s to keep enemy units from closing in to attack range. After-all Cobra Armour is made of paper an Canny will wreck on them. like I said, the biggest advantage of cobra’s is firepower and range. Their mobility and Armour for the most part Suck so use something with higher mobility or Armour to cover them (Or even both). Scorpions, Gremlins & marines are al useful for this.
E: Make use of your leader powers, Cryo is an excellent compliment for cobra’s as no th Grizzlys can’t move of fight back. Mac is also pretty useful. Carpet…Not so much.
Mixed unit armies are almost always better than ones comprised of only one unit type. Try using Hornets/HAWX/Scorps/Marines (Basically any Main line unit will help cover your cobra’s)
Or better plan. Don’t use cobra’s at all… Learn how to Micro with Scorpions then Pwn the Grizzlys with your Superior canister shell. Or if they don’t have Anti-Air…Use Air - Hornts/H.A.W.X will wreck Grizzlys.

You should beat grizzlies with PT scorpions. Check PT scorpions vs grizzlies.
Everytime I have felt something to be OP it has been only because I suck in this game. Stop sucking, be better player and things are not OP anymore.
