So with the update on Halo Infinite I found new motivation to continue the
grind for SR152. I am now SR137 and I was hoping someone could give
me some tips and tricks on how to obtain SR 152 as fast as possible.

I would say play a lot of Warzone Firefight, that’s the most rewarding playlist.
Just note that the exp required to rank up from 150 to 152 is the same as 1 to 150, I don’t know if it’s worth it to grind that much just for a couple of colors in Infinite.
I always use mythic ff. Always use xp jackpot boosts if you dont have legendarys. Save up your req points till the legendary xp boosts come back in store. (They are in right now)
WZ boosts and ff mythic gives you the most xp points. In mythic ff always use strong vechicles in the later rounds. You could play in a team to make it easier but its completely doable solo. I always play solo.
In arena you dont have much choice.
Barely any playlists net you xp so warzone en legendary xp boosts are your best bet.
But if you prefer arena, id recommend ‘infection’ and ‘rock and rail’.
I’d suggest Warzone Turbo and just find somewhere to snipe in one of the towers to make the games go quicker then watch something like Netflix on side when grinding the long haul of exp. Though I recommend taking some breaks to avoid getting burnt out.
I suppose the suggestions to just play Warzone are true (I really don’t think I’m very entitled to an opinion here as I am still very low rank), but if you want to keep your sanity at the end, I suggest you mix it up with the playlists you enjoy the most.
So here’s my thoughts on the situation… first and foremost do what makes you happy. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that you’re gonna get burned out playing the same playlist all the time, and don’t do something that you’re not going to enjoy. Most of the way through 148 and I’m pretty burned out with firefight, and I wouldn’t recommend mythic unless you enjoy the challenge. Yes the xp is great… but if you’re finding it too challenging and aren’t enjoying it… don’t bother. Something else to think about, not sure where you’re at on this, but consider playing arena and getting your commendations finished. You’re going to playing the matches anyway, although the xp isn’t great, it’s a win win, as you’re going to play anyway… and you’re getting the xp for it and for your comms… Also, with the holiday playlists out, you have a great variety and you shouldn’t get too bored playing right now.

Please note that the halfway point to 152 is 150. No joke. The amount of XP it takes to go from a 1 to 150 is the same amount of XP it takes to go from a 150 to 152. That being said, Warzone Firefight is the most rewarding in terms of XP. Make every single XP boost count.

Oh wow. That’s a long grind. I’m spamming warzone firefight now with legendary xp boosts.
And yeah the reward is not that great. But I will try to hold out as long as I can.

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely try out mythic firefight.

I made a chart. Basically, try to think k about the date you want to get to 152. Divide the numbers of days by your remaining xp. To get a daily target. Try to make more progress at weekends.
You have almost a year now to get it so go at a comfortable pace.

just went through today and did exactly that. im 40k away from 149 and i have to hit 100k per day over 300 days to get to 152. That armor/weapon coating is sweet AF but my god did that leave an awful taste in my mouth. I know if i grind for that and later down the road they give it away like they did with Hellioskrill Armor in MCC for H5 ill be pissed! Or if all you have to do is open your wallet to get it.
Legendary XP boosts are back in the REQ store so if you have REQ points to spare I’d highly suggest buying Warzone XP boost packs (also Arena XP boosts if you want to change it up a bit because Warzone FF can get a little boring after awhile). Will make the grind a little less daunting.

OP, right now (as im writing) based off of halo tracker you have 6,262,316 xp total. Minus that by 50,000,000 xp you are left with 43,737,684 to get. Divide that number by the amount of days left until November 15th, 2021 aka most probable release date (341 days as of today) = 128,263xp that you must get (at the very least) every day from today until release date in order to hit max rank. Its doable, but you gotta use legendary packs for basically every game you play, and most of which should be mythic warzone. With Legendary packs, thats about 5-8 mythic warzone games per day (depending on how much xp you get per match). I wouldn’t say its a “comfortable pace”, cause your gonna be putting in around at least 3 hours of halo 5 everyday for the next 341 days of your life in order to just stay on track.
Not trying to discourage you, but to give you as much of an idea as I can to help you out. Good luck man

Prewojo is giving the best advice for any game. If you dont actually enjoy playing halo 5 extensively you will not make it to 152 without hating yourself and halo5 itself, which could bleed over into giving you post fatigue regret in infinite. Unlocks like the 152 grind are just little rewards for the people who just genuinely liked playing halo 5 a ton and hit that milestone. If you cant find natural enjoyment from playing halo 5 for a year(casual grind to 152) or 6 months straight for 10hrs a day(hardcore 152 grind) then you shouldnt bother.
Dont burn out and hate a game just for some small rewards in infinite when there is 100% going to be coatings and skins just like the 152 ones but slightly different. I have a strong feeling these coatings are going to be just like shaders in destiny. Some that were rare for a few months later had similar look alikes that were much easier to get.
Dont sink 1000000 hours into halo 5 grinding unless you actually enjoy halo 5 genuinely.

Oh Then it’s probably gonna be difficult for me to reach SR152 before Infinite

Those are some wise words man. I will continue to go for SR152 for as long as I can. But if I can’t get to it before Infinite then I won’t be too mad about it. Thanks man
