Alright, so I know that the Mark V armor and the Gold weapon skins are going to be legendary. I have only recently started grinding for REQs and there are still a lot of common-uncommon REQs I still need to get, so I know that my chances of getting any of them are slim. As of now I have been stockpiling REQ points and have around 56,000. I also have two unused Warzone premium packs.
So my question to you guys is what would be my best course of action. When the update lands, should I buy as many Gold packs as I can, hoping for the possibility of getting something, or should I just wait and buy as many silver packs as I can first and just keep grinding?
If you want chances of getting legendary reqs, you would have to go for gold. However, I would definitely not recommend that. I wouldn’t even recommend silver packs until you have every common out of the way. I have noticed that I can typically get 6-7 bronze packs for the same price of a common by immediately selling back everything after buying a bronze pack. Get those commons out of the way, then the value of the higher packs increases. It’s not the funnest way, but it is definitely the most efficient.
If you really have a lot of commons left to unlock, definitely get the bronze. If you’re almost done with all the commons, just spam the silver packs. I understand you want to get the legendary items, but if you open 5 gold packs in a row with what you have now, you are going to open a lot of uncommons that you should have unlocked previously with silvers. Not only would that be frustrating, but you’re going to feel really dumb afterwards (no offence). Based on what you have said, 11 silver packs are way better than 5 gold packs. Trust me, slow and steady in this case, gets you better items
