What is the GRIM Brotherhood?
Honestly, right now its just a couple of brothers who play Halo.
We aren’t the best but we can typically hold our own. Which is all we ask from potential teammates.
We are grown adults who swear and yell and say inappropriate things.
We play to win but we intend on having a good time doing it.
We don’t do practices, we don’t do daily check-ins. You aren’t going to be required to join some website and be active there as well as the game. We are most active during the weekends, but occasionally play during the week as well (late evenings for an hour or so). We have jobs and families and while we would love to forget all those things and slay in Halo, those things will always come first and we expect nothing more or less from potential teammates.
If you are looking for a competitive team, we probably aren’t it. We play to win, but it doesn’t always turn out that way, we only really play competitive matches to meet the challenge requirements. People who are “into” competitive Halo playlists seem to be stereotypical -Yoink- bags, we don’t have the time for that nonsense.
We do not play objective games for “kills.” We play to win, if we are able to do that in 60 seconds, that is what we do.
We do not run around with power weapons we aren’t good with, just in case we magically develop the skills to utilize them.
We primarily play SWAT (H3, Reach, and 4). We will also dabble in some other game types (objective and BTB) to meet challenge requirements or to change things up, but SWAT is our bread and butter. We will also play campaign or firefight…We’re easy.
If you are interested in joining, you must be at least 21 year of age. A mic isn’t required (at this point anyway), but if you really want to talk with us or hear us, I guess I’ll have to get one too…You must also live on the east coast of the US. No hard feelings for anyone out west or outside the states, but, you lag and suck and we hate you. A tryout will be required, this isn’t to judge your abilities so to speak, but just to see if chemistry is there. If you are interested shoot me a message here or on Xbox. We have a Spartan Company GRIM Brotherhood I have no idea what the purpose of that is but we have it none the less.
K/d is not a defining factor in joining. We would love for you to have a positive k/d, but as long as you can carry your weight and you aren’t the reason we are ALWAYS losing, we don’t really care. If you have a bad game, just be prepared for us to make fun of you, we expect nothing less from you as well.
