Griftball problem

343 needs to fix teamkilling for this mode. I got banned from the game for a team kill when i scored 3 times…people is stupid so…of course i didn’t that on purpose! P.s: i never complain , first time actually.

Seriously? They actually kept betrayal booting?

Could be an oversight. Could also be a sign to not just swing around wildly. For now, I’m glad it’s in; there’s nothing worse than that one idiot who runs around betraying his team the whole game just to get his jollies. I’d rather play a man down than with someone like that.

Seriously these guys are idiots. Way to let people boot in a mode where everyone converges on one spot and starts swinging hammers around…
Betrayals have always been a thing in Grifball, both accidentally and for the balancing purposes. If a teammate wants launching you have a legit strategy, but do it wrong and you kill them, thats fair. And everyone who has played the mode has done the front line scrimmage thing at the start and killed everyone else on the team.

LOL cant wait to make videos of this

This was in every grifball. H3, hr, h4, and now h5. You’d figure that this would be something to expect.

I’m talking about booting, it was never offered in the old games. IDK about Halo 4 cause I dropped it after a month.

Its a fun mode but don’t like getting banned for betraying people on accident its stupid.

It was in h4, but took more betrays than normal. Specifically I don’t recall.

Yep exactly…i didn’t kcked them from match when they killed me.

I get the betrayal thing, maybe they could turn off team mate damage? The thing which annoys the most is epic spawn killing. Kinda ruins the game when the team keep the ball, not score and spawn kill for 12 frustrating minutes lol

No. This breaks the gametype.

I feel like they nerfed team damage already, but maybe that’s just me. It seems like most of the time when I’m hit by a teammate, it pushes me aside instead of killing me like a glancing blow from an opponent does. Hopefully one of the great you tubers out there does a comparison on team v enemy damage. I’d watch it.

A little abrupt but you may be forgiven :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. I get that its part of it,but its not exactly fair on the guys wanting to have fun to then get booted for accidental betrayals, especially when on unranked gaming. Might just be me being a little nooby after not gaming for so long, swapped joypad for nappies lol

More direct and to the point vs abrupt. Removing friendly fire will turn the gametype into a launch fest. I know this because my teammates and I do nothing but try to launch even when there are betrayals in the game. Removing that will turn things into a crazy fest. Fun, but crazy.

Trust me, I am very good at accidental (and sometimes intentional) team killing so when I play MM right now, I’m very careful about where my teammates are and I don’t play without friends that know what it’s like playing with me.

unfortunately yes

in halo reach you could betray as much as you wanted to and not give the player you are betraying the option to boot you

I think the problem is that people are swinging around hammers when you’re supposed to have the energy sword out instead, the Hammer is more of preventing them from getting near the other side and pushes them back…

That’s my thought on that at least
