Honestly, have ANY of MLGs requests been answered?
Other than no bloom and faster movement(which were wanted by a vast majority that had nothing to do with mlg), i honestly cant think of ONE thing mlg has gotten.
And griffball gets its own gametype, has a featured video at pax, gets its own improvements specifically for it, etc.
The community is larger for mlg than it is for griffball, yet they get the spotlight like no other.
MLG has been playing the game since E3. While the choices brought to the forefront are not exactly the most competitive, MLG has been working with 343 during Halo 4’s development.

Other than the occasional event where mlg gets invited to play, where is this “working with”?
Also, none of their suggestions/concerns get answered anyways.
No doubt we won’t see an MLG playlist at launch. Simply because they will need time to go over the maps, gametypes, custom settings and such, to find the best that work for them, get that set up, then it’s up to 343i to implement that into Halo 4’s MM!
While you’re waiting for such playlist, you can always just come onto the forums, get some people together and play a lot of customs!

Well of course. Im just worried about the things that wont even be available in customs.
Such as no flag dropping, and who knows what else will be messed up. Oddball wasnt even do-able in reach because of how much it rolled when someone died with it or dropped it.
How about MLG getting to have their own Halo 4 tournament in Dallas a couple of days before launch? I’m pretty sure if 343i didn’t include MLG during the development period of the game, we wouldn’t even been able to see Halo 4 in MLG before it’s official launch to the public.
I’m 100% MLG will get it own playlist, maybe not at launch but eventually. Besides MLG players past and present have been at every event that Halo 4 has been at. They have played and posted videos all over youtube, so I have no clue as to what you are talking about.

I agree with the first sentence. I think you have got your words confused. MLG has been helping with feedback, which is then given to 343i to help the members at 343i develop stuff in the game.
As for the second part, perhaps the fact we’ve had no answers suggest 343i have gone dark on the matter to utilize the feedback into Halo 4?
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. They don’t need to shout it out to everyone for it to be true. Most of the MLG people i’ve spoken with seem on board with most of the changes, and hopeful that extensive custom options that have been hinted at will allow more flexibility.
You’re being melodramatic. MLG is getting to play Halo 4 for multiple days before Halo 4 is released. 343 have been talking with MLG pros for a while now. 343 is focusing on building Halo 4 multiplayer for competitive play. Saying that MLG will not be a playlist in Halo 4 is like saying FFA won’t be a playlist… It may not be a launch playlist but if it isn’t I’d expect to see it on one of the first playlist updates.
Also with luck, there will be no need for an MLG playlist, and MLG will simply adopt the default settings for their competitions.
The more MLG deviates from default Halo gametypes and settings, the less popular it becomes. There used to be a time when a casual player would watch an MLG video of Halo, and they would be watching the same game that they know and love, just played at an exceptional level. It was awesome, and inspiring to see the game played at that level. But MLG has drifted pretty far from standard Halo, its community has isolated itself, and its popularity has waned. MLG needs a fan base to succeed, not a bunch are arrogant angry competitive gamers who think they know whats best. Because they don’t… and they are killing their own Esport.
