Hey I was farming griffball for xp, normally just playing the mode and I ran into people doing a “swordline” and I joined and did such in the matchmaking for around an hour, then was informed by someone that I can get banned for it. So I quit midmatch and now I am normally playing swat, will i get banned, can I appeal it? will I lose my xp?? what should I do?
I’m not sure if it was confirmed yet if that was bannable or not, but I wouldn’t worry about it for now. If nothing happens, then great, but if you get some kind of punishment then I doubt you would win an appeal.
I’ve been farming Grifball all weekend and ran across some of those games too. At first I refused, anyways it was taking more time than just getting a regular 16k and moving on to the next. But poeple said its alright and gives you more exp, and honesty you don’t really want to be “that guy” who break the “fun” each time… So yeah I did it too a couple games, but so did everyone who played Grifball this weekend. I think as long as poeple was respectful with it and not forcing it, it will be alright. They didnt make any statement and then would retroban/demote everyone who did it? That would not be right.
