Do you guys think that when this update comes out with Grifball there will be a forced color option?
For those that don’t know, Griff is the orange spartan in the machinima RvB. Griffball made Griff the one to always die when the bomb was placed by forcing whoever picked up the ball’s color to orange.
The color force option was also used in infection.
So, is it going to come back as a custom game option? Will 343 use it for griffball but not add it to custom game options? Or will there not even be a forced color for the ball carrier?
Well they did say they were making grifball, I would think that if they made it as true as they could, he would be able to become orange.
Short answer would be no for orange team, because the Grifball maps are forged with red and blue teams. Plus Orange was a member of Red team just like Green was with Blue. It’s more like Warm vs Cool, lol\
Unless you go to Grifball Hub and request the change.
EDIT: Sorry, if you meant Ball carrier traits. There’s no setting for that currently, but I guess it could be added.
Surely they will have forced color. It only makes sense, hopefully.

You never played grifball on Halo 3 I am guessing. No matter what team you played the person carrying the ball changed to orange. They still were on their respective teams, just changed color.

Sorry misunderstand question.

Yeah, right now i’m not sure Halo 5 even has a true orange/gold they could use for the ball carrier. The lack of color options in Halo 5 is truly disappointing. But hopefully they add in olive drab green and a suitable orange/gold for the ball carrier in Halo 5. I can’t see them removing the color change of the carrier, as its kind of iconic to the idea and image of grifball in the first place.

Just heard that 343i was working with Grifball Hub and Nokyard “Cartographer”, so I’m assuming they get it right when the update comes. Where Ball carrier is Orange.

Yeah, I really hope they get it right. The color change, and especially the sword-gravity hammer dynamic. In halo 4 it was awful… Sword was a guaranteed loss against a gravity hammer. Even if you saw your sword enter their body before they started swinging you would still lose if they swung at all.

Aw man, Caboose is my favorite.

the orange or the color that you are able to select is perfectly ok with me. It is an orange.
