A lot of people don’t realize the ability to pass in Griffball. To help them out why don’t the team add waypoints pointing to members of your team that say “PASS” at the edge of the screen when holding the bomb.
This could be added to the assault and Griffball custom game options as a third option under the ball throw toggle because it is a required to be enabled or in as a new label under ball options called visibility.
While I’m at it please add an option to change the ball to something else; the flaming oddball skull misses Halo 5 343!
Too noob friendly
Can’t make everything easier otherwise it won’t be fun
But yes I do miss the skull

It is kind of noob friendly but that’s the point. Griffball is a fun mini-game in halo that should be relaxing and inviting to new players. That is exactly what helps new players get control of movement mechanics in a shooter. Although Griffball is competitive I don’t think that this feature detracts from that and would not be unbalanced as anyone carrying the bomb is granted these abilities.
No. You’re supposed to be aware of your surroundings. Grifball is amazingly competitive as well, just requires some communication.
Passing the ball is more of a monkey see, monkey do thing. Once more players see that they don’t have to hold the ball, they’ll figure it out. Playing with mics help a lot as well.

xD ha ha ha, wow…it isn’t even competitive enough to be such.
You can “pass” you just have to throw the ball and hope or know a fellow team player is near it when it comes close. I wish I remember what game it was but I saw someone pull it off, enemy team sneaks around and stands by our goal, his team has the ball and throws it to him. Jumps and catches it. GOAL!
