Grifball Winter League signups start Sunday December 4th!

Hey everyone, if any of you are interested in joining the Grifball league to play Grifball competitively, I’m one of the administrators from the league and I’m here to give you some info on one of the most addicting custom gametypes on Halo since Halo 3.

The league is a competitive 4v4 Grifball league, with a 10 game season and playoffs (if you make it). All teams have a maximum of 8 players on the roster, and of course a minimum of 4. The best part is the winning team gets prizes, which will be 800 Microsoft points to each active member of the winning team. This is our 14th official season, and although we are losing players, we are still going strong. The Halo: Reach community is fantastic, and the Grifball community will not disappoint you if this is what you are looking for. The community is great, and we have a good balance of all different types of players.

Signups start tomorrow, Sunday December 3rd, 2011. Grifball.com is our main website, but the RoosterTeeth team has sort of been neglecting us and the site is broken in some aspects, so we run all of our stuff through there and Grifball.info. You can also check out our forums here, where you can introduce yourself, pick up some players, or join a team.

Also, to play in the league, you must sign up on Grifball.com so you can be added to a roster, or create one.

Here’s a video we put together for the Spring League, so you can see some of the aspects of the game if you have never played.

Here you can find more information about the league signups

Here you can find the FAQ, which tells you pretty much everything you need to know about making a team, finding players, etc.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I’ve played in the American Grifball League of America for many seasons. Folks should check it out!
