So one of the playlist which is tons of fun is now turned into a playlist I will NEVER touch again. Why? I’ve been kicked 2nd time in a few days which has lead to 2 hour ban. The people in that playlist are so full of themselves it’s a joke. I’m not at our spawn killing teammates, I was playing the -blam!- game.
Oh that leads to another thing… TWO HOUR BAN. The amount of WZ/Arena games I’ve played since the last dummy in Grifball that kicked me shows of bad this system is to pick the wrong people in this community.
Kinda funny how I was literally going to make a post saying H5 has been one of the most enjoyable games since REACH/H3. I’m furious. Look at my stats, is there a trend of DNFs? Besides the Grifball kick some 20 arena games ago, my record has been clean for weeks. I’ve DC many times over the course of H5 with recent DVR proof.
Before you you say there is a ban thread, I’ve already posted in there. This is a H5 problem, innocent people are being pricked by the system.
Looking past today, since this system never forgets like a crazy ex gf, say I play 100 clean games ok? Any stuff happens and I accidentally betray and get booted, is my next ban a 24 hour? THAT IS A JOKE.
I love Halo, I have since 2008. Played every Halo title since, support each game and played them. But honestly at this rate, these bans are honestly going to scare me away from playing the game. A loyal fan possibly being permanently ban from a game they love. Never in my 8 years on XBL have I seen such a broken system. Disappointed.

It makes it worse that both times this week I’ve been kicked, I made it so our teams had a potential win. This last one, we just scored 3-4 with 40 seconds remain. I kill the enemy assassinating a teammate and it gave me both a kill and betrayal. Dude kicks me. He is lucky I didn’t get his GT, I was salty
The only way you can get a 2 hour ban would be because you got a few other bans before, and quits are quits are quits even if you quit 5 times in the past and once now or 1 in the past and 5 now they are both 6 total quits trust me if you had people who are quitting and people betraying you enough you would want them banned.

I got booted twice in 4 games last week in the last say 2 mins of the game because we were running a team of 3 and that wonderful random 4th kept thrusting in front of me.

In my 1821 games, I’ve quit ~7 games and booted ~5 games. DC numerous times but that’s not my problem, it’s H5. So you’re saying that seeing those stats, you would want me banned?
My buddy and I were playing online yesterday and he was booted 3 times prior to the start of an arena slayer match. It booted him and picked a new guy to start on THREE seperate occasions. Then he got a 9 hour 42 minute ban from arena. We then played a warzone game, at its conclusion we tried arena again just to see…low and behold he was no longer banned. We went on to play about 7 more matches before calling it quits. The system is f’d up. It catches the right people 90% of the time but idk…just seems messed up.
It doesn’t help that since region lock was removed I myself see a problem connecting or straight up not being able to access the req system among many MANY other issues. And I didn’t have any issues prior to these changes.
but every and I mean every other game/service works flawlessly. I’ve got a 37mbps download and a 7.5 upload hard wired

My friends don’t play H5 and honestly I enjoy playing in my own company for the most part. But that isn’t the point to the post, Grifball players are too boot happy (even if it cost the game) and ban system hurting innocent players.
Yeah the other day I went in grifball with 2 friends and somewhere in the middle our random quits.
Then another one joins, and with three minutes left, and after I got 4 bomb delivery points for my team, the random boots me.
It’s complete BS.
In your opinion you shouldn’t be kicked from grifball, but the guy who kicked you was probably sick of you running around smashing everything like a menace. Just cause you feel like you’re being helpful doesn’t actually mean you are. People booted from Grifball get no sympathy from me, it’s just not that hard to avoid killing your own team.

I don’t run around smashing like there is no tomorrow. I have been playing since H3 and have a understanding of the gametype. You say it’s not the hard to avoid team killing, well sometimes it’s not hard to not team kill.

I have no way of knowing how you play but when I’m in grif the only people I boot are the ones who think strategy is just running around smashing -Yoink-. I never boot people for betrayals by either goal line or going for a ball spawn and I’ve never been booted for the same things. The rest of the time there’s really no reason for you to even be close enough to your own team that you could betray them.
If you want, add me on xbl and we can grif together. Maybe you’re the best griffer out there and I’m confused, but I’ve never been booted from grif so I’d have to see for myself that you are in fact playing smart and just getting shafted by boot happy noobs to believe it.

If you need that as proof, I have no problem with that. I have nothing to hide and have been completely honest in what I’ve been saying. But I’m not eager to play Grifball anytime soon.
Here’s another thought. The banhammer shown to be super sensitive; 32 games Arena games since last boot and ~40 WZ games with 1 DC [I have DVR proof] (WZ won’t let me check recent games after the first page so I’m guessing my games played)
Am I suppose to play in fear now?
I understant that most of you think I’m lying and hiding something like other “I just got banned for no reason” people, but I’m not. Try to look at it from my side. It’s worrisome at how escalating this is, and from someone who is recovering from a back injury and can’t do much else and Halo is something that gets them by… It’s kinda important to me
Then watch where you swing guy. It’s not hard, you’re the type of player that rushes the ball as it spawns and if you have a teammate in front of you and he kills an enemy as they grab the ball, you swing anyway. Learn control.
