Howdy all,
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Grifball since I first discovered it in Halo 3 DXP sometime in the spring or summer of 2008!
I’d like to suggest the following to improve/balance the Halo 4 Grifball Playlist.
In order to negate the enormous advantage host gains, negate player ‘knockback’ [players battling with hammers tend to propel one another backwards sometimes extremely far] and make the sword somewhat useable; please adopt the GGL’s 2013 Spring League settings which utilize No Shields, among other tweaks, in all Grifball gametypes [not just in “Grifball Pro” … which by the way could be changed to “Classic Grifball”]. One can find this in the File Share of “Kalbelgarion” labeled: “GGL SL2013 Grifball” here.
I’d also like to suggest three Grifball gametypes which randomly get placed into the first, second and third voting slots.
*Grifball
[keep first to 5 scores without rounds but adopt the above mentioned settings except keep auto-pickup enabled]
*Grifball Pro
[keep one score per round with a total of five rounds and again adopt the above mentioned settings]
*Infinity Grifball
[identical to “Grifball” above but play the full 12 minutes with unlimited scoring]
Thank you for your time and see you on the court!
