Anyone who even searches in Grifball in 2016 knows about it. There is an invasion of players in this playlist (specifically only grifball to my knowledge) that will search then proceed to AFK… sort of. They are certainly playing, and will happily betray / kill you if you come near them. But they are perfectly happy ending every game by standing around, jumpin on the walls, teabagging with the enemy team (who join in also).
This madness has a name according to many of the morons with 60 or lower IQ’s I’ve confronted. They call it a Peace game. They want to boost credits without a team or full party and they only sort-of AFK so the autoban system doesn’t notice. Worse? THEY’RE GETTING AWAY WITH IT!
Now, I’m not a purist, nor do I even care that they don’t want to score. I don’t even care that they just want cR. What bugs me to NO end is that INHERITORS are doing this too! WHY? What could they possibly gain from no kills and long games without actually playing? 30k credits? FOR WHAT?
And more upsetting is when the other team isn’t on board and wants to actually play, its a constant 1 or 2 versus 4. Nearly. Every. Game.
How is this not bannable? Is Reach even being monitored anymore? Modders and aimbot hackers run rampant in swat and slayer, and this BS happens right under everyone’s noses.
I’ve noticed this problem too. Its irreparable to my knowledge, and there will always be useless halo players doing this. And on the note of inheritors, usually they are in parties with all inheritors to spawn trap you, or to help their lower level friends earn a lot of AFK Credits.
I guess you can say I’m a person who doesn’t score. I just kill, in simple terms. If you don’t score, and just kill, you will get a lot of credits. 10-18k of it. Do I support the boosting? No. I really don’t.
That why i play Firefight only now on Halo Reach. Op at lest you didn’t get spawn kill with a group of Inheritor that play Grifball all day every day that go for win and kill, because i used to be that player that go with only hard core Inheritor Grifball Pro 4 man team but i quit last year from doing that because it got old killing all noob. Now i just play Halo 5 Grifball for fun by my self. All my hard core grifball friends stop playing Halo so i feel like i am the last of old school grifball player who still play grifball.

Let me clarify one thing before this thread derails. I don’t mind full parties, I myself typically choose not to play the objective all the time as well. What the topic refers to is very clear. People who are intentionally AFKing for seemingly no reason at all. They are present though, they just watch the game. Literally. Standing still, standing on the walls, hammer-jumping to escape the map… but they will play if you approach them. They get upset if you keep coming at them instead of just letting them sit there…
Its just so absurd.
It’s been around since 2013. Where have you been?
You cant beat them join them right?

It’s not like it matters, it seems more fun to have peace games like that, you get alot of credits and you can socialize with others, it’s actually quite fun
This situation is nothing short of a complete blight on the game. Reasonable people go into a video game to actually PLAY THE GAME!! If all you want to do is sit in a corner and spin around I recommend you do so IRL, it will be much more productive for you and won’t affect those of us who want to actually play Grifball.
For the record, anyone in my games who AFKs gets killed, regardless of which team they’re on. If you don’t want to play there is no reason for you to be doing anything other than re-spawning.

Agreed very fun and made new friends as well
haven’t played grifball in a while but it sounds like if you participate in them, your ruining the game for other players. Note:others doesn’t mean all
