GrifballHUB will be having a meet-up/dinner to meet others from the Grifball community at PAX Prime 2011. If you love the game of Grifball, you do not want to miss this. Meet with members of the Grifball league, ask questions about Grifball or get tips. This is an open invitation to all who are interested. If you are a Grifballer, we want you there.

We will be meeting Saturday, August 27th at 10:00AM in the Waypoint Annex. I know Jess and I are leaving on Sunday to come back to Salem, Oregon. But we don’t know when we are leaving, but that may be because Sunday is an all day thing as well for PAX.
Keep in mind that the Halo 4 panel is at 10 a.m. and I’m sure people will be getting in line waaaaay early for that. Saturday morning looks clear of Halo activity though and other major panels.

If we did breakfast it would have to be super early on Sunday because the Halo 4 panel is at 10am. I’m not sure we want to risk slow service and not make the Halo 4 panel. I know I don’t.
I vote for later in the day on Sunday. I missed most of the Grifball dinner thing we had at PAX East, and I would like not to miss it again. The last panel I want to go to ends at 4pm and I don’t even have to go to that if we make the meet-up around then.
Anyways, I hope to see some more responses, and I hope to see everyone there whenever we decide to make the meet-up.
See, I would love to go as well, but the boyfriend works early on Monday morning, so I’m being dragged out of PAX kicking and screaming after The Old Republic panel. He knows he can’t keep me from that. I want to do a meet up thing, but if it happens to be later in the day, I sadly won’t be able to. The drive back to Salem, OR isn’t super long, but its enough that I need to leave at a decent time since he couldn’t get the day off.

As has been established through Twitter, I am 25% of Green Army III and there is no way I’m missing PAX. For the past two years I’ve been at PAX and completely oblivious to any Grifball event (aside from the panel). This year I made it a point to hang out and meet my fellow Grifballers. So much so that I am staying with Chanpuru Dragon and Seanzie.
I’ve seen Kal, Goose, and Tex in previous years but never said anything. Except for at the panel when I got Goose’s attention so she could film the front of the line saying “Get some balls” or something stupid like that. We should have said “catch the disease.” I also name-dropped Birdseed in the Q&A section. Good times.
