The new grifbll blows. The first tem to score wins. Pro also never gets picked. Thanks 343i leave the game to rooster teeth. Thoughts.
The first team to score wins? I’ve been both on a team losing only to have joiners on the other team come back & win it for them as well as HAVE JOINED a losing match only to help the team come back…So yeah, you’re wrong.
People on this forum don’t have any idea what “dead” means, do they?

“clik” “clak” maybe we should show them? -_-
jk but really the new grifball is the best
First team to score wins? I thought there were five points, not one. I don’t see why you should care if pro gets picked. I don’t see how grifball is “dead”
Halo is dead
Xbox is dead
Internet is dead
My cat is dead
My neighbors secret lover…also dead
Blah bla blah these post are not only old…they aren’t even the slight bit interesting anymore…every time something comes out…it ruined halo or its dead…smh
Everyone you play with absolutely SUCKS if the other team scoring first is what always decides the outcome of your game.
It’s not dead. Normal Grifball may be pretty annoying, but Pro is good. People just need to realize that it’s good and they might actually choose it more.
Team with host always wins.

This.
Every team mate blows, in every game type, playlist, hell most AFK the entire game, what is new?
Grifball is quite fun however, I hate the Round to Round variant though, that mess blows chunks. I prefer getting to constantly battle it out for the ball and scores with no down time, much funner.

What an idiot.
Grifball is not like that at all, maybe you just suck at it?
Honestly, has anyone ever considered that? Everyone always complains about how this is overpowered or how this needs a nerf, or why this isn’t fair, but no one thinks about maybe they are just bad at the game.
Troll. Griffball is obviously not dead.

Your one of the most ignorant people on the planet. Check service records before you flame someone. Also playing a good team while paired with two other jerks rhat run around with swords the whole game it always turns into spawn camping destruction. while one guy runs back and forth for 2 or three scores until I finally manage to fight my way out to make a stop. And whose awesome idea was it to gather alll the spawns in the corners of the maps. I swear 343 has no idea when to stop changing things for the sake of change. Its not hard to place a few decent spawns and a bomb in the middle of a box.
Hmm haven’t played it yet, so I cant say if it’s actually bad, but I do hate how the balls don’t explode.
The one w/o rounds and instant pickup on does suck. But the pro version is fun. But that has been the norm for ever game variant recently. The old version was fun and 343’s twist on it is terrible. No surprise there really, but hey atleast there is a pro version of it and it sometimes gets picked…
- i have had games go back and forth. If the first to score wins a majority of your games your probably just playing bad.
- pro pops up every search and in my account it gets picked atleast 75% of the time.
- 343 worked directly with griffball hub to give what we have today. If the founders of griffball like these changes then its griffball.
- its one of the top 3 most played playlists as of right now i hardly consider that dead.
try again.
How is it dead? Check the playlist population numbers.
I actually like the new version with instant pick-up, it doesn’t end the round when I’m on the other team’s spawn destroying them and we score. Whilst I’m still distracting them and spawn killing them our team gets to pick up the ball again unhindered.
Halo 3’s Grifball is great.
Reach’s Grifball is okay.
Halo 4’s Grfiball is the best.
In my opinion.
Populations on XbL prove Halo 4’s Grifball is great at least. Majority of feedback being positive also proves this. Whether it’s better than Reach’s or Halo 3’s is opinion, but to say it’s dead is clearly a lie by these facts.
Dead? No. A husk of its former self and glory, to the point of it being so bad that few consider it as a viable gametype for competitive and fair play? Yes.
