I’ve been having a lot of trouble with Grifball. I’m not landing a hit on anyone most of the time. It’s just puzzling to me that I’m dying so much without hurting anyone. I’ve tried dash hammering, slide hammering, ground pound, hammering ahead of time, and hitting them from behind, and there’s not much results. I’ll get hammer kills when players are distracted with the ball carrier. I often die from far away, far out of the kill range of the hammer, and I still can’t land a hit at the same distance my opponent killed me. I’ll be lucky to land a hit before I die. I can do the exact same method of hammering, and producing absolutely inconsistent result across the board.
I’m just tired of getting overwhelmed by the opposing team with their superior priority attacks. It’s not fun when nothing is happening for me. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? There’s this weird inconsistency not landing a hit and landing a hit, which doesn’t happen often. I have a decent connection with a ping of 5-9. I can play other modes without a problem, and I don’t get that same inconsistency of Grifball in other modes.

Is your internet connection solid? Sounds like you might be having some latency issues.
