If you recognize the song I just remixed right there, post its name in the comments and you will receive absolutely nothing for it except a fleeting sense of competence. Now to get focused. Grifball in Halo 5. I myself have been praying to the precursors of old for the introduction of Grifball as a full time playlist in the Chief Keef Collection, however it seems that will not be happening anytime soon. That got me thinking, “I wonder if they will have Grifball in Halo 5?” It was something I knew I wanted, but I didn’t really think about too often (too busy complaining about the ADS lol). That is, until I really thought about it. Earlier today it struck me, “Wait… Halo 5 has boosts… and shoulder charges… and ground pounds!” Whether or not you like Spartan Abilities in your competitive multiplayer, there is no denying how absolutely extreme Grifball will be with them. Seriously! It just takes the game type and turns it on its head. For real, if normal competitive Halo completely and utterly fails, then they could just shift the competitive focus over to Grifball. I’m not even joking. Just thinking about how the game type is going to play with all of that stuff makes me jizzz in my pa… darn there I go again. Hold on a minute. Due to the discussion at hand I must acquire a change of pants.
Five Minutes Later
AAAANNNDDD I’m back! But only for a bit! Cause I still haven’t found any pants, which is weird. However I figured I would give my closing statements and post this before continuing with my very uncomfortable situation. Just try not to think about the fact I’m naked from the waist down.
Now to my closing statements. Grifball in Halo 5 will be, in my humble opinion, the best Griball experience yet. With the new Spartan Abilities, new ranking systems, and odds are new weapons (I don’t see any reason for them to bring back the gravity hammer, so it would only make sense to replace it with something similar and new), we should all be in for one hell of a good time. I’m interested in knowing though, to what degree do you guys believe the Spartan Abilities will impact Grifball? What positive changes could they bring to the game type? What negative changes? Will 343 get rid of the gravity hammer? If so what could they replace it with? Will 343 bring back the classic explosion when you score? What is the meaning of life? Who here actually noticed I referred to MCC as the Chief Keef Collection? Will I ever find a clean pair of pants?! WILL I?
Deep questions, my friend. Grifball is probably one of my all-time favourite Gametypes, and I have to say the future looks bright. I doubt we’ll lose the Hammer, as we had it in 4 without so much as a whiff of the Brutes, and they brought the explosion back for Ricochet in 4, so that might happen. As for SA’s, I think we might get multiple gamemodes, since 343 has added the toggle. Like Reach had Grifball Dash, Grifball Pro, Blargball, etc, we might have Grifball Classic, Chargeball, Grifball Dash and Vertical Grifball (spawn at the top and drop into the battlefield with a pound). That would be cool.
Oh, and I did notice the MKC thing, and I have faith you shall one day reclaim your trousers.
Grifball would be so great.
I never had friends that liked Grifball so I only got to play it with micless uncoordinated folks. I hated it. I would probably like it more if I knew people that I could play with but I’m not invested in it enough to care if its in halo 5 or not.

Halo 5 should have grifball , I just hope there isn’t the teething problems like they have with master chief collection, [ still ongoing issues 14/4/2015 ] absolute joke at the moment .
Ricochet and Grifball seems like it’ll be like Hockey and Football(not Fútbol). It looks to absolutely insane.
I just hope Assault will make the cut so we can play classic Grifball again as it was originally played if we so choose. I’m not a big fan of the new Grifball experience.

Poor choice of wording for title. Either you knew the attention it would warrant, or you failed to realize that it could possibly feel misleading. Anywho, I made a grifball thread a few days ago just for hype. I’m glad people care about it as much as I do. I just have a good feeling that the addition of Spartan Abilities can potentially blow GB through the roof. We have new tossing feature from H4, things should only get better. It’s also up to their map design to incorporate clamber.
