343, can you please update the Grifball playlist with a “How To” video.
I can barely play Grifball anymore because of people on my team who think the best way to kill the ball carrier is with a Gravity Hammer.
Teamamte: “Hm. The enemy ball carrier is running towards my goal. I should try to hammer him. It’s not like I’m swinging a weapon that excels at propelling things at a high speed. It couldn’t possibly push him into the goal.”
Please make everyone playing Grifball for the first time watch an impassible “How To” lesson video. Then makes people take a little quiz on the simplistic strategies of Grifball. Like killing the ball carrier with a damn sword.

So because you don’t like how someone plays they shouldn’t get to play at all? That’s hardly fair. I use the hammer 95% of the time when I play grifball. That doesn’t mean I “don’t know how to play” but simply that I prefer playing MY way.
Gotta agree with the cookie here. You can’t force someone to stop playing a playlist because you don’t like how they play no matter how frustrating it is.
It would probably be better to make some friends who play well as a team so you don’t get frustrated by randoms
But if people knew what they were doing, I wouldn’t be able to time my jump with their swing and launch myself halfway across the arena for the score.
In all seriousness, I get annoyed sometimes too. I had three teammates yesterday that were more successful at accidentally killing me than doing anything to the other team. You’re just going to end up in games like that if you’re searching as a random. Lead by example or get on mic and try to coordinate them.
To remedy your problem of teammates being “bad” try going into Grifball with a group of friends. Trust me it helps immensely. Also the hammer also has the ability to push the runner back or stop them in his or track’s so do not think the hammer is useless on the runner.
