Grifball Gravity Hammer

Okay so I’ve been a long time Grifball player, ever since it came out in Halo 3.

What I want to know, is how in the hell do you use the hammer…? I mean I obviously know it’s point and pull the trigger, but how are you supposed to adjust the “Crosshairs” of it to optimize how many kills you get, etc.

Because from what I’ve seen there’s no, “right” way to use it it’s more or less just luck of the draw and making use of enemies mistakes.

With the sword you’d have a sword battle, and from what I’ve heard and seen meleeing with the sword is better/faster than attacking with it.

With the hammer it seems as if it’s based on connection speed or something, because normally after the first hit one of you are dead.

Thoughts?

To give you a better idea of effective range… Look at motion sensor lines, as they cross inner line is about the furthest you can kill.

THIS

Hell I figured this out in halo reach, it actually makes you a better grifball player because now, you can time you hits instead of trying to get lucky.

like I did back in 3 lol.

Host does play a big part though, sadly.

If they have host, they will likely see you cross their radar line sooner than they cross yours, leading to your death. Sometimes though, you are able to compensate for that and crush them anyway.

My favorite thing to do is to kill the ball carrier with the hammer…you can feel the rage coming from their dead body.
