What is the fricken purpose of friendly fire on Grifball and Golf???!!!? I have gotten kicked in like 2 games and its annoying. This serves no purpose only to annoy you.
The solution to this is SOOO simple yett it hasnt been fixed
If you took out friendly fire in grifball, it would break tradition that has existed for 3 games prior to H5, and if your problem is getting booted, 343 removed it in Grifball, but I’m not sure about golf. Only did it twice and lost both times.

they already changed it with sprint, ground pound, sliding, spartan charge and boosting…and they just recently took off spartan charge.

Yeah, but every iteration of grifball had it’s own unique twist. Reach added grifball dash. H4 added sprint(?) H5 can add Spartan abilities. Team killing is part of that core gameplay that never gets trashed. It’s like making the ball carrier slow down instead of speed up.

So they added another main point back to the mode, thus bringing it closer to the original formula. Your opinion is correct, and so the problem has been fixed.
The only thing they need to address is the Betrayal booting, I remember playing Grifball on Reach and there was no Betrayal booting
I haven’t Grifball on Halo 3 so I won’t know what it was like
