Okay let’s just ask the question I’m sure everybody’s wondering. Why doesn’t 343 just turn off friendly fire like they did with swat. Why not do it with all gametypes. Just saying it’ll avoid people from booting people who accidentally betray which will prevent the ban hammer from striking the innocents.
Yes please… PLEASE

Haha exactly its so simple. How many people have been banned now cause they accidentally killed a team mate then got booted. My friends been banned twice now haha.
With Grifball it’s just hammers and swords, can’t you watch were you’re swinging your things?

Not with all the Cluster Lucks and the fact some teammates dive in front of your hammers while you’re swinging, intentionally hoping to be killed (most likely).
This is a real problem in Grifball.
343 just needs to recognize this and remove friendly fire for this gametype.
if you turn it off then you take strategy out almost, you dont have to be aware of what you are doing and gives you free will to just run around like a -Yoink!- swinging your hammer and have no cares what soever… thats why they wont turn it off, atleast in swat you cant just shoot randomly now and hope to win you still play the same way. grif would be like hearding a bunch of 5 year olds around

While you do make a good point. I just think people are swinging around anyways. Get close to the enemy everyone will swing at him.
Also your team tends to get in the way a lot as well.
I’ve been spawn killed a lot by my team. Its not their fault there just halpens to be an enemy there and they just attack to kill. Bad timing on my part but if friendly fire was off i would’ve loved to have survived that haha.
It is a social playlist after all. At least its not ranked.
Removing Friendly-fire doesn’t work. Causes exploits like Grav-Boosting (Hitting your teammate with a hammer so they go faster and farther)
It’s a problem, but this isn’t a solution. Unless you would like teams that Grav-Boost.
I don’t play a lot of grifball maybe 10-15 games total but i don’t think i have ever betray someone i don’t thinks as hard as some make it out to be
Its either they turn friendly fire off or they take out the booting option. Cause people are getting banned and booted for the wrong reasons
