Why can I be booted from grifball, half the time when you betray a team member its their fault for jumping in front of you. It is either remove friendly fire ( which would be stupid, cuz then you can launch grif in the air) or get rid of the boot. I keep losing my Legendary RP boosts because someone thinks its my fault they commit suicide with my hammer.
Yeah, I totally agree with you. I got booted the other day because I accidentally betrayed someone more than once and it’s not our fault we betray or get betrayed.
I betray 5-10 times per game
I’m surprised the boot option is there in the first place. It’s Grifball for crying out loud!
How… I might get a single betrayal in a game, but more than that is very unusual for me. It’s on you. I don’t get how so many people are having an issue with this. Be aware of your teammates, and don’t swing if someone is in front of you. Not hard.
I also made a post about this. It’s a very bad issue that needs to be fixed.
Half the time when I get tk’ed in Grifball, I don’t even get the option to boot a player. Even if I do, I just dismiss it cause it’s grifball…plus let’s be honest, the halo 5 gravity hammer is better than the one in Halo 4.
Grifball goes hand and hand with betrayal…

What do you think about turning off friendly fire and putting a kill barrier up top to prevent someone from launching to high? It is fun when you get launched and can utilize the ground pound though. But I’m also tired of getting booted for getting excited when I start earning overkills and start the wild swinging, lol

The Hammer has a 360 attack radius even when a team mate is cheeks to cheeks to you, you’ll kill them as long as they are in your “bubble”.
Sometimes it is hard to avoid betraying your teammates or getting betrayed yourelf I know, but I think you just have to have good awareness.
