I remember in one of the recent patch notes seeing that the betrayal system in Grifball was adjusted. Today I wanted a break from Turbo and Super Fiesta, so I opted for Grifball. Been a while, wanted a quick change. About 10 minutes in I had a single betrayal when a teammate moves in front of my hammer and got instantly kicked and then instantly banned. It was a hammer swing that only hit a teammate, but it was the only one like that and I did not see any other cases of teamkills from myself.
Can anyone explain how the betrayal system in Grifball works now? Grifball is where accidental betrayal is the most common. There is no way that they made Grifball’s ban system harsher and more broad, so there must be some conditions I tripped to get hit like this.
(btw, was a short, few minutes ban, already lifted, but still very curious about the mechanics here)
