I have gotten into 2 freaking games of grifball where I betray the first player 2 times on accident and I get kicked from the game. This problem existed before the update but it seemed they fixed it but now its back even more and you can get kicked from a game within 2 betrayals on 1 guy. wtf 343? Stop downgrading your games with a useless betrayal option in Grifball it is ridiculous how you bring it back WITH AN UPDATE. Seems like the updates just downgrade the game… I am now banned from Arena for almost 2 hours. Thanks 343

Even then teamates can jump out in front of the person your killing and get betrayed. That is what happens to me most of the time and I am about tired of it
Honestly I thought the betrayal boot was removed. I can’t say how sick I am of noobs running around like rambo with no sense of strategy. I had a game just recently where 1 guy seemed to have as many team kills as he did against the opposition. -Yoinking!- infuriating.

I believe it was for a period of time. I think what happens is that the betryal option must be a default gamemode option and everytime they update it, it goes back to instant mark the betrayer options. I hope they take it out again because I shouldn’t be paranoid on where I swing my hammer on Grifball

but yeah I’ve definitely noticed it happening more often after the update and it’s irritating as hell.
Sometimes its really stupid, some guy like does it on purpose but no kick option, for an accident, it brings it up. I mean wtf!

Yeah I saw you online. Your a great carrier 
but yeah the games I were in with you were the games I was so paranoid about getting kicked from because I got on right after my 2 hour ban for accidental betrayal. Like I said before no Grifball player should be paranoid on where they swing

Yeah I had a match last night where I got asked 6 times if I wanted to boot the player. I understand in grifball you need all your players, so I try to be cool with not booting then someone boots me, sheesh.
For that matter, why do people always seem to automatically boot? Does it give them some perverse pleasure? Great, now you’re a guy down for no particular reason other than the fact that you’re an impatient toddler.

Everyone who turns their nose up at noobs needs to remember that we haven’t all been playing Halo since it came out, and not everyone is going to invest time in learning strategy for a casual gametype. Since the banhammer has gotten stricter, I have been trying to pay more attention to my surroundings and think about strategy more. People still jump in front of you, and accidents happen. I’ve never intentionally griefed my teammates, but I have been booted twice since the update. I’m really fine with the boot, but the ban just downright sucks.
Regarding automatically booting, the one time the screen came up for me in a game I barely saw it - I was already mashing buttons expecting to respawn. I honestly have no idea if I booted the guy or not.

EXACTLY! if they are so strict about it why even have friendly fire an option in the gamemode? Make it like warzone so you cant grief you teammates. I got banned for 24 hours Sunday for accidental betrayal like 3 days in a row for me
