I’m not going to check out your link, but the removal of Grifball is supposed to be temporary for some fixes. If it goes more than a month, there are plenty of us of that will make a fuss.

Its being removed for “fixes”, I would rather have the mode be improved and temporarily replaced than just have Griffball remain dull and loose population over time.

I think it’d be fantastic if the fixes they are making is changing the mode to rounds where Grif blows up and removing betrayal booting. I might actually play the mode if that were the case. But without rounds and a non blow up Grif and having betrayal booting on–it’s just not Grifball to me.
