Hey i’m an aussie that recently got into gridiron and love watching the nfl and came up with this idea if anyone likes it,
with the oddball you could play american football with one person being the quarterback obviously and beign able to throw it.
for the defense they would be allowed energy swords (no gravity hammers as it can double kill) to tackle the offense and end the plays.
The only thing i’m trying to figure out
RULES ~
-The Defensive line is allowed Energy Swords only
-The Offensive line is allowed a magnum (just a fill weapon to catch the ball with) and an Energy Sword as a secondary (ONLY to be used when the ball has been turned over
-The Quarterback is to be coloured Yellow (for visibility issues, read below)
- When the ball has been snapped and play begins the defense can ONLY kill with the sword:
a) when the quarterback has the ball (sack)
b) when a receiver has caught the ball
c) when a runner has been thrown the ball and is running

After the snap, the only form of contact a player can make with another player without the ball is to try block them with HARDLIGHT SHIELD

In this game, instead of 4 downs for each 10 yards, the offense has 6 downs to get from the line of scrimmage to the touchdown zone
as the field is small -
All PRACTICAL rules and penalties from nfl apply eg. running across the line of scrim before the offense has snapped the ball
also: when you kill someone in this mode i think you automatically get the ball so just give it back to the other team 
So how do you guys like it? any suggestions? do you think this is a good mode:P
