just wondering if you have the grenadier armour mod applied does it boost the damage of your grenades that you shoot out of the Reach Grenade launcher?
I’ve wondered about it too. Certainly would make the weapon a lot more viable.
Actually, why not make Grenadier affect all explosive weapons outside of grenades?
If it doesn’t, it certainly should.
I doubt it. The grenade shot from the Grenade Launcher is treated like any regular weapon’s projectile. When they say grenades, they specifically mean frag, plasma and splinter grenades.
That being said, it would be cool if it did affect the Grenade Launcher.

good question I’ve wondered the same thing as well…while were on the subject does the grenadier perk work if your on the back of gun goose. I was wondering if it worked with that and if those grenades count toward the company commendation of grenade kills…

It should apply to those grenades, as the infinite grenades from a Gungoose passenger seat count are just standard Fragmentation Grenades. As a result, they also should count towards Grenade commendations.

Yeah I wasn’t too sure because they also count as that Pineapple Express medal…but thanks for the info gave me a good idea for company commendations now…
I don’t so. It doesn’t count towards a nad kill. Counts as a weapon kill. At least to my understanding
I’ve never tested it, but I kinda doubt it does. The grenades launched don’t seem like normal grenades, and on the kill feed it doesn’t show the grenade emblem. That would be really cool though I hope 343 implements that.
I’ll go test it right now in heroic WZFF and edit this post with what I’ve noticed.
Edit - No change, sadly. Haven’t noticed anything when using grenadier with GL. Does the same damage output and everything, even with the pro pipe version.
If anyone wants to test this in normal warzone or WZA. go ahead. I just did 1-2 matches with it on firefight.

I’m not sure if the perk works on grenade strength while on the back of a gungoose, but it does increase grenade tossing speed on the back of a gungoose.

Did you notice your company commendation for grenade kills go up…I’m going to try and test that on a WZ Assault tomorrow…see if it changes anything . Like if Im pushed back to home base bring out the gg and sit on the back and chunk til my hearts content… I know thats the way to get pineapple express easy
it does not really need to work with grenadier to be powerful, you just have to know use the weapon
