Could you please tone the damage down for grenades in halo 5? Halo:Reach’s grenades were just OP and Halo 4s were kinda OP. I just want simple grenades that dont kill me after two were thrown it gets agitating when thats what everyone does just throw grenades as a first and last resort, so please try something new with them in halo 5 with grenades

Two grenades seems fair enough to kill players. You spawn only with two of them, and people spam them without killing anything most of the time.

I think that’s the problem they spam grenades and from every enemy team member that would get annoying. At least its not Halo 1 grenades where they instant kill you behind cover.
I see what you saying but with thruster in the picture it will be harder to hit someone with one when they can just dodge them. Insta nades are the worst though.
I think there need to be more damage as now that there are thrusters people can dodge really quickly
Grenades are meant to be thrown. There’s no rule that says it must be thrown at a certain time, so it doesn’t matter if it is last resort or not. As others have said, they should be strong due to the higher mobility in this game.
Also, Halo 4 grenades were only noticeably strong with the grenade damage perk.
Grenades are mostly used to kill/ make enemy’s get out of cover. That’s what I use them for.

Two grenades to kill an opponent is more than fair, considering you only have two grenades at any one given time. With thrusters, it’s way easier to dodge them anyway, so whoever is throwing them needs to anticipate their opponent and plan where the grenade needs to be thrown. Grenades, at least frag grenades, are probably more of a utility anyways; they’re a means to draw an enemy out of cover, despite doing high damage.
