a few games, war zone heroic, mythic etc I have noticed layers throwing unlimited grenades.

The only way I know is on the gungoose but that’s meant to give you unlimited Fernandes

They’re probably picking up grenades from enemies and throwing them as they go.
To date, it is impossible to hack / cheat in Halo 5.
The culprit in question is probably scavenging lots of grenades that fell all over the ground. Not to mention the fact that you can carry two of each grenade type at once.
2 Frags, 2 Plasmas, and 2 Splinters.
The only practical way to get unlimited nades is to hop into the passenger seat of a Gungoose and start tossing away.

Save the game in theatre and then use the Xbox dvr. There’s not much to go off of without proof, especially when no one else has heard/seen this. I’d still wager the dude just picked up a lot of grenades, the game is notorious for having a -Yoink- ton of them just sitting around.
Have only seen it twice, one guy on foot, one guy riding on the back of a mongoose I was driving. he must have thrown at least twenty or more. I would not be able to play every game in theatre just on the off chance, For a start I dont know how.
If a player clears the Marines in a control point, there are 6-8 grenades laying on the ground for the next minute. If it’s not Gungoose’s, then this is what you’re seeing.
They’re also probably scavenging Nades off dead players. If you get a triple kill on players near each other, you can spam grenades for a while if they were all holding them.

Currently not possible to mod an Xbox One, either via software or hardware

A good question honestly, since the side seats really only good for objective carrying.
Well it could be the guy is riding on a Gungoose and spamming grenades or simply they just ran into a room full of dead guys who didn’t use their nades yet. What makes me annoyed with those nades that it always or mostly seem to go and explode right next to me but when I throw I didn’t scratch -yoink-.
The xbox hasn’t been hacked yet so…
