Grenades too weak?

Is it just me or are grenades pretty much next to useless now? If I get stuck and I’m pretty much in kissing distance of the person who stuck me and their low on health, they still don’t die.

With grenades in general they have to be literally standing on it for it to do any significant damage. And since the throw distance/ speed is significantly reduced, it’s next to useless.

The H4 nades are just fine, they aren’t meant to be primary ToDs. I’m SO glad they aren’t anything like the mini nukes in Reach.

Frags I think are fine, although stickies are rather useless unless stuck directly.

No I think they are better than Reach’s grenades, which are way to overpowered. In Halo 4 you actually have to know how to bounce them and use them tactically.

I like the Balance, Frags can Bounce and Finish off Enemies behind Cover, Or those using Hard Light shields. The Plasmas can stick to and Insta-Kill Infantry and Heavily damage Vehicles, and Pulse Nades can Strip shields and do Area Denial.

Yeah that’s mostly what I meant. Frags are okay.

The biggest problem with grenades is the grenade indicator they making avoiding nades way to easy.

It doesn’t matter how little damage the grenades do when you start fighting against a squad of Class-A A-holes with the grenadier package that can spam 9 grenades at you for each A-hole you’re fighting. It doesn’t help that if you’re team is doing good, then they’ll probably pick up a few of the 27+ grenades on the ground just to chuck them at you. You can live through 1 grenade, not the average 3-5 that you get fed by that guy who drained your shields before you got into cover.

People get to shoot more, Although it’s pretty annoying that people use that camo + stickies combo.

The grenades are strange. It seams like when you start fighting people they lob three grenades and then run away while their team mate comes in and cleans up. People just poke and run and this frustrates me.

Before, people were saying nades were overpowered as hell, and that everyone just spammed nades.
Now, apparently, they’re too weak.
