Grenades to weak or op?

I just want to hear your opinion so if we need to do something about it.

I’d argue that Splinters are a little too powerful. I think the splinters shouldn’t stay there for as long as they do, maybe reduce it to about 5 seconds or so. Apart from that, frags and plasmas are in a good place.

The grenades are fine. I’m sure there will be an onslaught of people who disagree soon enough though.

Splinter nades are OP the rest are fine.

I’d make the frags slightly heavier and have splinter grenades last 7 seconds.

I feel like you should only spawn with one frag in all ranked arena modes. Too much spamming.

I agree with this 100%. It’s not that grenades are too powerful, they’re just too frequent. I think that you should spawn with 2 grenades but I don’t think you should drop them when you die. That would limit people’s grenade spamming. I’m not complaining though, I don’t see grenades as a huge problem.

Nades are “too” overpowered. Even the frags have sticky properties. You will notice that if you throw a frag nade AT someone it tends to float around them and follow them, instead of bouncing past them, as in past Halo titles. You used to have to bounce a nade into someone for it to be effective. That still works, but now you can literally just throw it at their face and it will work just fine. That is probably the biggest issue, other than the Splinter nade being a complete OP joke.

Also, nades spawn too often and have too many on map. Small, tight maps like Overgrowth are especially affected.

No, just reduce nades on map and increase their spawn time. Spawning with two would be fine if less on map.

Hail Mary! Grenades are great in this game. Stickies are far more harder to get wich is good, even though I really relied on my plasma nades in previous games. The splinter could lose a few seconds imo. They take so long that I have walked straight through my own in thight situations, ending in a suicide and laughter of course.

I can agree with this.

I’d say the maximum range of damage is way too high, but the power is too low.
They should be able to insta-kill a Spartan if they’re right next to, but they need sharper falloff.
In my opinion.

Frags are too spammable. I honestly liked Halo 4’s setup where players don’t drop grenades when they die and you have to actually go to the grenade spawns to get them.
