I’d just like to start off saying, I don’t have many complaints about Halo 5. The pistol is just fine in the sandbox of weapons, teamwork is as it should be, everyone has the same chance at everything on the map so balance is there, the radar is junk but I feel the grenades are a bigger fish to fry.
One of the few complaints I have is the non-stop Nadeapalooza. I personally think we should only get to spawn with one Frag Grenade. It seems as soon as you get in a confined space, trying to narrow your opponents into a corridor, there is a terrible Grenade-spam happening. Having one at spawn should be just fine because two grenades can literally clear out an entire sector of opposing players. We have grenade spawns of all varieties on the map. We do not need two death inhibiting, wall bouncing, from the grave trolls at spawn.
Now, if I were to cry NERF for anything, the Splinter Grenades need to be dealt with. Either shorten the time at which they stay active or make them less harsh on the damage area of the realm. I can’t even count the times I’ve been full shield and then killed immediately by one of these things. Along with, the times I’ve been betrayed or been the betrayer because of one of these grenades lingering on the field for what seems to be an eternity. I’m not 100% sure of how they should be dealt with but something needs to be done because I truly believe that these grenades are far more powerful than what was intended.
As for the Plasma Grenades, well done! The visual affect they leave is awesome!
Does anyone else feel the same? To be clear, this is purely a grenade-based thread. Please keep it grenade-based!
