grenades feel like a-bomb.....(tu)

Dear community,

well with this topic I want to say that I think, that the grenades are just to strong or the shield is to weak. everytime i play in a playlist with tu settings I think it´s just unfair when someone throws a grenade and i die just when i´m fragged a bit.

if tu stays like it actually is i prefer the “old” settings.

well i hope you guys can read my post, my english is not that good :).

Grenades were not changed in the TU or within the TU settings, they are still as powerful as before.

well i first wanted to write that they´ve ever been to strong but i didn´t knew exactly how strong they were.
well if the grenades are still as strong as before then they were to strong before^^
so i think they are actually to strong and in the tu settings they shouldn´t be that strong.
actually the damage with your fist is a bit strong, isn´t it?

Grenades are fine.

They always were fine.

Reach has a lot of problems but grenades aren’t one of them.

anything? oh, excuse me, but as i said my english is not good so i try again:
all in all i wanted to say that
1 - i wasn´t sure whether the grenade was strong before so i wrote about the tu settings
2 - i´m still of the opinion that they are to strong and have to be fixed in tu
3 - in my opinion the damage with your fist is also to strong

do you really think so? it´s your opinion but i think if you play some objective (for example king of the hill) in rumble pit for example evrybody just throws grenades into the hill^^

People have complained about grenades since the beta, it’s a GRENADE it’s supposed to hurt. alot.

that i´ve played rumble pit? guess not.

grenades combined with the health pack system are WAY too overpowered. 1 frag should not kill a player with full shields that happens to have yellow health.

the reason they are overpowered is because bungie wanted to make AA’s seem more useful, but that goes right out the window in almost any situation unless you are using AL. this is especially annoying on Anniversary settings

With bleedthrough combined with bleedthrough health pack glitches grenades have become atomic bombs. 343i needs to remove bleedthrough from the TU.

I’m sorry, but grenades already bleed through your shields pre-TU. That never changed. The grenade damage never changed. We just can’t avoid them as easily as the other Halo games because we don’t jump as high, we don’t run as fast, there is really slow movement acceleration, and the grenades have a very short fuse.

The health pack glitch is only from getting pummeled. And you have to get pummeled multiple times in that life for it do do anything. It is extremely rare for it to happen in a game, because if you are getting pummeled that much, you likely don’t have that long of a life.

Explosives are considered bombs? Why was I not informed?

It’s bleed through, it makes everything play differently.

Grenades and explosions remain unaffected by the TU b/c they always bleed through…

Grenades bled before the TU, and the glitch only happens when you melee, and this is fixed with 75% melee.

They are as overpowered as before.
