Grenades are Inaccurate

Imagine the game being 49-49, you throw a grenade that kills your teammate on accident because the grenade hits the wall and bounces back. This seriously needs to be fixed. No other Halo has done a job like this Halo has. Literally ruins little basic things that are common across all Halos. Wow

Update: in this scenario, I am peeking slightly enough for my reticle to be outside of the wall. Hope this clears the confusion. Sorry for not explaining myself well enough

I want a left handed spartan that throws nades with the right hand. It would fix this issue for me.

You would be wrong. Friendly fire, has been with Halo for as long as I can remember. Maybe look out for your teammates before you fire. Just a suggestion.

that is what happend to me except the complete opposite i get low heath no shield some guy throws a random grenade and i die.i back up just so i can’t get hit and it manages to bounce and kill me anyway, so they seem fine to me

Are you saying that grenades never bounced off walls before or grenades never killed your teammates? In Halo Infinite, friendly fire is turned off in casual play but on in ranked. I believe Halo 2 and 3 was always on. Can’t speak for Halo 4 or 5 because those were garbage.

I’m not exactly sure what you’re getting at here. If it’s that grenades bounce off walls, that’s always been a thing.

The grenades aren’t mean to be precise, you’re lobbing the thing towards the enemy after all. I find that the grenades are generally pretty solid in Halo Infinite and serve their purpose well.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve accidentally naded a few team mates too, we all have those moments.

What’s worse is that there are YT videos out there that show frags in Infinite will adjust their bounce angle towards players and they also slightly speed up or delay their detonation timers in order to hit nearby players.

It’s such a horrible change to grenades that i just can’t understand

That’s a very juvenile accusation. Halo 4 and Halo 5 were not “Halo”, Halo Infinite feels the closest there is to “Halo”.

thats so weird to design a thiing like that. If 343 feel grenades are inaccurate, why not inccrease blast radius instead? They should disable the homing grenades in ranked

I thunk they should disable homing grenades in general. Either make it a set timer after the throw like some other games, or a set timer after the first bounce line previous Halo titles. That’s my opinion…

Actually, I’m a gamer. I have a bunch of Xbox’s including a Series X and S and a PC. I play on what I like.

Halo Infinite feels closer to the roots of how Bungie has made Halo. Bungie cared about the true Halo fans, 343i wants to reach non Halo fans. They don’t care about the fans like myself and say the Halo fans are what’s in the way.

Ahh yes, the good old left side nade.

I also hate that your teammates can phase through you, but your grenades still impact them. I can’t count how many times I throw a grenade only for a teammate to leeroy jenkins through my soul and bounce the nade straight back at me (if I’m lucky, otherwise they get stuck and die).
