Grenades are becoming a problem

Grenade radius is too big and inconsistent

Ive had grenades be nowhere near me and I get killed meanwhile I toss a grenade into the center of a packed room and get nothing but shield busts

The blast radius makes no sense at all

“Whenever I get shot, I die. But whenever I shoot someone, I still die. Guns are a problem.”

Tale as old as gaming.

ah yes, grenade consistency being left up to a coin flip, a tale as long as time

Blame ping and hit registration. It affects all weapons, even rockets. You can dump all your ammo into someone or melee them 3 times in the back. The game is a mess right now.

I haven’t had any issues with ping or melee requiring a third hit but regardless, I hope these grenades arent the final product

I have noticed that grenades in Infinite are on as many steroids as they were in Reach - they could defo do with a tiny bit of a tone down. - that or make people spawn with 1 instead of 2.

Idk about inconsistent, but they are too strong and ever present. They slow gameplay down way too much. I end up hiding behind a wall until the whole enemy team finishes throwing their 8 billion grenades. They either need to be nerfed or removed at spawn.

Is this a troll post?

I’m asking because people confuse connection with the actual gameplay.

In my experience, things will vary from game to game…

Try a custom game with 90% grenade splash radius or maybe reduced damage. Grenades in Infinite have a short fuse and massive splash so maybe you could petition 343 for a more exact change if you test stuff out and find something that plays better.

Grenades are working the same way they always have in Halo, sorry you need to adapt and play different.

have you ever play halo before? melee and gernades are the foundation of multiplayer

Sounds like a latency problem to me.
Or you just suck at tossing nades.

If they have always worked the same way (they haven’t) in Halo he doesn’t need to be the one changing.

No they aren’t. They’re overpowered compared to Previous Halo’s. Blast radius is way too big

Ignorant response. No friendly fire + bigger blast radius = 8 nade spam galore. Wake up

Thank you! Glad to see this popping up on the top posts list. The grenades are very annoying in my opinion. Especially because there are no grenade indicators, so when friendly fire is off, there’s no way to tell which grenades are friendly and which are hostile if you didn’t see the person throw them.

@343 please address this!

People are saying hit-reg is a problem. But honestly, I’m beginning to get convinced that, like in other games, there’s social MMR.

The better you are and the more you solo queue, the more the system makes up for your skill gap by pairing you with some fairly flaky people.

And I say that because I noticed that when I spectate my team mates they DO NOT throw grenades around corners first, even after witnessing me De-shield an enemy. They will Run, Round the corner, Fire, EXPLODE, THEN desperately throw nades. When it’s me that’s had a fight though? 1…grenade… 2…3 …4… Well i’m done for.

I have recently learned to get into the habit of just Repulsing grenades no matter what. Even if I think they won’t kill me. Repulse em. Also Just throw up Walls even when its quiet, so that random nades don’t chip me.

They should 100% only give one grenade starts in Ranked. Its ridiculous that you can have 8 nukes flying in at once.

I promise you the nades haven’t changed.

Honestly think it’s to small been seeing pc players just shrug nades
off like nothing
